As of Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Contra Costa Health Services is reporting a total of 168 cases of COVID-19 and three deaths from the virus in the county. The totals are updated daily and based on preliminary reporting. Numbers may change based on additional findings.
Hey, reporting deaths and totals just makes for a bleak outlook. Perhaps adding how or why they got it would be more helpful. Like if these new tolls are people who did not Shelter in Place or if they did, how they still contracted COVID19?? Something that helps the public learn.
We can only provide what the Contra Costa Health Services provides to the public.
They aren’t releasing any additional information due to the HIPAA Rule.

Thank you Lynn, or even more helpful would be how many people are recovering from this virus. Because if we are all doing this social distancing, my question is why would the numbers be increasing.
That’s because more people are getting tested. That’s what we were told would happen. The number of cases they’re providing are the confirmed cases. There are probably more because not everyone who is experiencing symptoms is getting tested.
