In December 2020, we initiated an investigation where Carlos Gonzalez, male, 35 years old, from Hercules was accused of sexual assault involving a male juvenile. Gonzalez was formerly the manager of the Chipotle restaurant in Brentwood where the sexual assault took place against the victim seeking employment at the restaurant. The preliminary investigation resulted in an arrest warrant being issued for Gonzalez. On 12/30/2020, Gonzalez was arrested without incident at his residence in Hercules. Gonzalez was booked into county jail on multiple felony sex crimes involving a minor.
Further investigation has revealed additional victims who communicated with Gonzalez through social media platforms. These victims met Gonzalez while he was managing other Chipotle restaurants throughout the Bay Area. Due to the fact Gonzalez was exposed to an unknown number of individuals while managing different Chipotle restaurants, it is believed there may be more victims that have yet to come forward.

Ecstatic to see him locked up!!!! He would draw d**ks on my arm with the sharpie used to label the food (I have video evidence) he made many sexual innuendos and suggestive remarks towards me in the workplace, tapped my n*ts*k with an open hand on more than one occasion at the Walnut Creek location on Locust St. After he would touch me he would gaslight me because if I reacted I was “too sensitive” “taking myself too seriously” or that I needed to “loosen up”, I had recently turned 18 and had been on the job for no more than two months while he was in his thirties and had been with the company for years as a general manager who was in corporate’s good graces along with the fact he oversaw many different locations within the Chipotle franchise. I did not say anything because I did not think anyone would believe a teenager who had barely worked there versus a man who had been there for years and would put on a fake smile for customers while abusing his power behind the scenes. The minor was groped and part of me feels guilty because if I had spoken up, that kid would not have had to go through what I did. I know what happened to the others and myself was not our fault whatsoever. I am no writing for sympathy or pity, I am writing this so the whole world will know that Carlos Gonzalez of Hercules is a manipulative, power hungry, gas lighting, thirsty ass dude who abuses his power to take sexual advantage of people for his own twisted messed up ulterior motives.
I need that sex offender label to follow him around for the rest of his life so he can not hurt anyone else because he preys on those who are vulnerable and or are lower than him on Chipotle’s career ladder.
